The Rediscovered Sun

Štěpán Zavřel

The Rediscovered Sun explores the vital theme of respect for nature and delivers a message of hope. One day, the inhabitants of a city discover that the sun has disappeared, leaving everything shrouded in darkness and cold. A true disaster! Unable to survive, they turn to an ancient ritual—lighting a fire on the mountain to summon the sun. After two days of waiting, everyone returns home, disappointed. Only one little girl stays behind. Then, one morning, the sun rises.
Overjoyed, the children run through the meadows, gathering flowers for the sun. But when they return to the city, the sun is still hidden behind a thick wall of smoke. Desperate, the children rebel. And it is they who will reveal the beauty of a cleaner world, one that is closer to nature.
The artworks displayed in the Museum are created using acrylic paint.
