The Children’s Bridge

Štěpán Zavřel

The Children’s Bridge is one of the most frequently referenced picture books when it comes to teaching children about conflict, peace, and tolerance.
On one side of a river lives a family of farmers, while another family lives on the opposite bank. The two families don’t get along and often argue. But one day, when the river’s waters recede, the children cannot resist the temptation and cross to the other side…
This book is dedicated to all those who believe in building bridges and tearing down walls.
The works displayed in the museum are created using watercolor.
